Happy 4th!
July 4th, 2008

Wishing a wonderful Independence Day to all who celebrate it. So far mine has been a relatively lazy one shared with the family and with signs of a nap in sight. Really, it doesn’t get much better than that. :)

I had to spend this last week working at home for the day job as my daugher’s preschool was closed. This meant during the day I mostly played author catchup and then spent my evenings doing the day job. During my inbox cleaning I came across some cover copy I never knew was sent. This is for Dangerous Ties, which is a paranormal BDSM anthology I am in with Devyn Quinn and Anya Howard. I will be sure to add both the blurb and an excerpt for this book, as well as an excerpt and some rough blurbage (don’t have anything actual yet) for Escape To Ecstasy (Jan 09) to my site very soon!

Now off to update the contest page…

A Little Funny For Your Day
July 1st, 2008

If you like a little sarcasm to go with your day and don’t already read her blogs, I encourage you to check out Wendi Aarons weekly posts: http://wendi-aarons.blogspot.com/. This woman can always get me giggling. Now if only I could convey my own sense of humor as smoothly via the written word.

Sweet and Sinful Arrives
June 27th, 2008

I admit it, I have been terrible about blogging as of late. Really trying to be better about it, though. The great news for today is that my author copies of Sweet and Sinful have arrived and I am eager to share! For your chance to win a signed copy, check out my post at the Bradford Blog today, join my newsletter group, or enter the contest I will be posting to the website later today. Or, if you don’t mind waiting a couple weeks, copies will be showing up in stores in mid July, as well as shipping from BarnesandNobles.com and similar online vendors.

Home Again
June 13th, 2008

This past weekend I journeyed to Lori Foster’s Annual Reader & Writer gathering. I had a lot of fun but must fess up I spent a good deal of time sleeping. I guess I just don’t get enough sleep as a rule, because one day away from home and I slept like there was no tomorrow. Of course, I also got to meet some great people while I wasn’t sleeping–including many I already knew from the online world. A huge thanks to all who made the trip all the better! :)

After we headed out from the weekend, my mom, sis and I took my little girl to Kings Island. We weren’t sure how the trip would go as she has a big indifference toward talking characters–you know those ones that are six foot tale and people are inside the costume?  Well, I am happy to say she did great, loved all the rides, and watched the various shows in wide-eyed awe. She even got to be a part of one show. A great weekend in all to be sure.

And now another great thing… I am back to writing! I took several weeks off after completing several back-to-back deadlines, but as of today I have a new story underway and so far I am loving it.  I hope to share some of it very soon!
